Las negociaciones avanzan para que el extremo se incorpore al equipo rojiblanco por una compensación cercana a los 300.000 euros.
La UD Almería y el Albacete Balompié se encuentran en las fases finales de negociación para el traspaso del extremo Jon Morcillo. Según informaciones cercanas al proceso, el acuerdo rondaría los 300.000 euros, una cifra que el club almeriense abonaría para liberar al jugador de su contrato, que expira en junio, y poder incorporarlo de inmediato.
Morcillo, de 27 años y formado en la cantera del Athletic Club, sería un refuerzo expresamente solicitado por el técnico Rubi para la banda izquierda del ataque. El futbolista firmaría un contrato hasta junio de 2029, comprometiéndose con el proyecto indálico a largo plazo.
La llegada del extremo, que esta temporada ha marcado cinco goles en veinte partidos con el Albacete, también precipitaría la salida del joven Marko Perovic. El montenegrino cuenta con varias ofertas y su marcha se gestionaría una vez se cierre la operación de Morcillo.
Con este fichaje, el Almería cumpliría uno de sus objetivos para el mercado invernal. El club aún busca incorporar a un delantero centro y desbloquear la llegada del defensa Jorge Pulido, cuya negociación con la SD Huesca se encuentra más complicada.
